HOLY MOUNTAIN

I watched Alejandro Jodorowsky's 'The Holy Mountain' last night. I don't really feel like I can say much more than it is one of the most amazing films I've ever seen, without at least another watch. The themes of religion, sex, symbolism, death, life etc. I think are really helpful, especially for the next part of the project. The mise en scène too is utterly fantastic, with, interestingly, a lot of references to our manifesto in the layout of the rooms, symbols, colours. Furthermore, the latter part of the film concentrates on 9 beings coming together to form one immortal entity.

Shapes

Good video, but mainly picked it out for the point made about the animation at the start for how geometric shapes were related to human activity because of the movement they displayed. Despite the fact the animation is simply an arrangement of shapes moving around a screen. Thought it played in nicely to the shapes we're creating as a structure for our society and manifesto! ay?ay?ay?

Mighty Morphin' Power

Ive decided this is as relevant as anything else! The Mighty Morphin' Power of the Power Rangers (incase you dont know its when all the power rangers combine theyre robots to make one big super amazing break ya face robot that could take down godzilla and king kong put together in one karate chop!)

Round Table

Kind of different to what you guys have posted, but what I've been meaning to post up for a while. The shapes and significance of the shapes attatched to the structure of our society reminded me of the Knights of the Round Table. As you probably know, the round table was round so each mans opinion was seen as equal, as there technically was no head of the table (contradictory as King Arthur had a throne and was highlighted as a leader in this way), it also meant communication would be better.
