Paula Scher

Really interesting designer who mainly works in typography but her method of working is really really interesting, she illustrates with text and describes how she goes through her routine I guess..heres a video I found

but what was really interesting and related to our project is her map work, its something she does in her own time but its worth hearing her talk about them in the video...but here are some of her maps;






she uses the movement and flow in text to show things like the tsunami, colours show a prejudice etc...each map is really carefully considered and they look amazing!
